ST LOUIS BUSINESS JOURNAL (2-8 February 2008) had an article on HOSPITALS STEPPING UP INFECTION CONTROL in which it is noted that Missouri joins 15 states in making this data public, Currently CENTRAL LINE-ASSOCIATED BACTEREMIAS (CLABs) are being reported and later on this year other nosocomial infections will be reported that will include SURGICAL-SITE and VENTILATOR-RELATED infections.
